Over 2 Feet of snow has fallen in the foothills outside of Denver in the last 24 hours. With snow totals like that we decided to head up to Loveland Ski Reort in hopes of some early season pow turns. As soon as we left my house I knew we were in for a bit of a drive. Traffic along I-70 was crawling around 40 mph, we took it safe and made it up in 2 1/2 hours.

Others thought they were Dale Jr, and this guy looks to be from Hawaii.

Patrick O'Toole finding some deep snow at Loveland. The mountain was a ghost town today, maybe it was the massive amounts of snow on the roads, the cold temps, the wind or a combo of the three.

Typically we see reports like this around Jan, Feb. But before Halloween??

On the way home we decided to see how the snowboarding was in Louisville, CO - not really known as a snowboard destination, not yet.. Basher these are for you, 10 minutes away!!

Knee Deep +++

Pat riding down to Marshall Road!

Looks like its still snowing.. Hope to see everyone out having as much fun as we did today!
