Seattle, WA — Ride Snowboards is stoked to announce the promotion of Colorado native Mike Erwin to sales rep for the Rocky Mountain region.

Erwin replaces long-time Rockies sales rep Shawn Penrod, who was recently named U.S. Sales & Marketing Manager and is now operating in the trenches of the Great Northwest.

“Erwin is extremely dedicated,” said Penrod. “I’m really impressed with his hard work, dedication and his extensive knowledge of the territory.”

For the past 18 months Erwin has worked as the sub sales rep in the Rocky Mountains and has laid the groundwork for this natural transition. Before joining the Ride crew, he repped for DC Shoes in Orange County, CA. He has hired Josh Tillman as his new sub rep in the region. Erwin first learned how to shred in Colorado more than 15 years ago and has a solid lay of the land.

“I’m glad to be back in the Rockies. I absolutely love the territory and its passion for riding,” Erwin said. “I’m excited to work closer to key retailers and push Ride to a new level.”

Erwin will be based in the Mile High City and work with snowboard shops in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.
