Largest Consumer Snowboard Demo in the World Features Super Stops and Am Series Competitions

Burlington, Vt. (December 30, 2009) — The 2010 Burton Demo Tour is underway, including over 200 stops where riders can try the latest Burton hardgoods for free, featuring the most recent developments in board shapes in addition to Burton’s EST bindings and the Channel snowboard technology. The largest consumer product demo in the snowboard world, the Burton Demo Tour also includes 10 Super Stops; 10 weekend-long events with a dedicated sponsor village and after-parties for local riders.

For the third year running, the Burton Am Series competitions will take place at select stops. The Am Series gives up-and-coming riders an opportunity to automatically qualify for the US Open Snowboarding Championships, held March 19-21, 2010 at Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont. The Burton Am Series competitions are all 3Star events on the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour. Riders can register to compete in the Am Series here: burton.com/amseries. Special thanks go out to Amp Energy, Snowboarder Magazine and Swatch TTR for sponsoring the Burton AM Series.

Every stop on the Demo Tour will give riders of all ages the opportunity to try the latest Burton gear featuring both Rocker and Camber shapes. From tip to tail and rail to rail, the issue of Rocker and Camber is no slippery banana. Take a Stance and determine which shape best suits your riding needs. Riders must be 18 or older with credit card and ID; minors must have a parent or guardian present with credit card and ID.

The Burton Super Demo Tour brings you free Burton demos, product giveaways, and après parties at every stop. Burton would like to thank Paul Mitchell, Nature Valley, actiVwater, Snowboarder Magazine, R.E.D. and ANON for sponsoring and supporting the Burton Super Demo Tour.
