Beaver Creek Ski Resort has opened for the 2009-2010 season. Locals and tourisist came out on opening day to enjoy runs down Latigo and the Lumberyard terrain park. This year the Lumberyard park opened with 2 really fun jib lines and 13 features to slide on! Smiles and highfives were a common site!

Seemed like everyone made it up for opening day! Beaver Creek is known for having a laid back group of local riders and skiers, the vibe was all about having fun today!! Seemed like the end of the year party just rolled into opening day. Good friends, good times, and fun early season turns!

One of the best things about Beaver Creek Ski Area are the chocalate chip cookies, anyone that has ever been to the resort around 3pm can attest to these awesome munchies. Cant think of anything better then walking off the hill to hot fresh baked melt all over your hands cookies. Today was the annual Beaver Creek Cookie Competition, where people from around the world compete to have there cookies given away thru the resort during the ski season.
