Snowboarders & freeskiers will enter a chance to win cash purse and more in sponsored prizes. Mount Baldy, March 13 2010—The historical Mt.Baldy mountain ski resort mainly known for it’s steep technical terrain and natural open bowl riding will host the location for a new era of grass-roots contests for local snowboarders and freeskiers. The goal for the “Money N Tha Bank” event is to bring back the soul and spirit of both these snow sports back to the unknown riders and smaller underground resorts who never get the chance to showcase their talent and skills for an opportunity to make a name for themselves.Open to all ages, from amateur to professional athletes, male vs. female in an all out open jib jam session.The event will be judged on (Best Male rider, Best Female rider, Best Skier, Best Grom, Best Trick Overall. Running the event creation, course design, and media marketing for the rail jam are professional action sports photographer/local snowboarder Nick Ciotti, photo-journalist/local snowboarder LaFonzo “Snowdogg” Carter owner of Thug Crew Snowboarding in conjunction with Ski Punk Clothing together bring over 30 years experience in the snow industry to provide this event with the Mt.Baldy management.
