Holiday Valley, NY – March 11, 2010 – Finishing on what proved to be a competitive region, the Red Bull Butter Cup series made it’s last East Coast stop this weekend. Holiday Valley Ski Resort hosted the series and its custom-made butter pads on a beautiful 40-degree bluebird day. The rider roster was nearly maxed out at 96 athletes and more than 1,000 spectators came out to catch a glimpse of the action.

Last Thursday our friends at Red Bull invited us down to Denver at the Church to check out a one-of-a kind event: The Red Bull Three3Style. “What the heck is a Thre3Style?” you ask. Only one of the coolest DJ battles ever thought up.

(Words by Mary Walsh) In the days before Saturday, February 20th, facebook was lit up with back and forth wall posts between NH's elite class of snowboarders and buzzards. Claims were flying about who would land themselves in not first, but third place, and everyone was psyched about coming up to the valley early Saturday morning. Red Bull Snake Run, after months of brainstorming and hard work, was finally happening on the slopes of Waterville Valley.

Red Bull Thre3Style is an innovative concept that gives highly skilled DJs a platform to battle, perform, gain notoriety and express themselves in a party atmosphere. Unlike other DJ battles that are based on more technical aspects, this is a creative and unique format that seeks to find the DJ that has best perfected the true art of how to “rock the party.” Eight of Los Angeles’ top DJs will fight for the crowd’s favor, each with a 10 minute set that MUST contain at least three different musical genres (with no mixing programs allowed). A panel of music industry judges will select the winners based on track selection, creativity, mixing skills, stage presence and crowd reaction.

MOUNTAIN CREEK HOSTS HEATED COMPETITION FOR THIRD RED BULL BUTTER CUP STOP

Vernon, NJ – January 30, 2010 – It was a colder than normal day Saturday when Red Bull partnered up with Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ to put on this season’s third stop of the Red Bull Butter Cup series. Nested at the base of Mountain Creek’s South Peak, Red Bull Butter Cup participants warmed up the atmosphere with some slick presses and smooth buttering. With an array of butter pads at their disposal and some sick tunes provided by DJ Anubus, the nearly 100 competitors put on quite a show for the Mountain Creek crowd.

Its that glorious time of year again. The special time when snowboarding gets thrust onto the main stage for all to see. ESPN spends a bazillion dollars creating the Xtremist snowboard event of all time and each year succeed.

This year due to crazy scheduling conflicts with SIA coinciding with X, we've decided to let ESPN take care of providing the daily action coverage from the games.

New York, NY - January 27, 2010 - This past Saturday, Red Bull teamed up with Mount Snow
in West Dover, VT to put on this season’s second stop of the Red Bull Butter Cup series. Mount Snow was also host to the Red Bull Butter Cup series last year as seen with repeat competitors coming out to the slopes to defend their title. With a warm 40-degree bluebird day to showcase their talent, the event brought more than 1000 spectators out to watch the action.

What better way to kickoff the SIA trade show than having an Ice Hockey game. Outside of the Foothills Ice Arena everything was calm but inside the arena things were getting hot. The night started off right with PBR and Red Bull sponsoring the evening’s drinks but soon it was down to business for the industry reps that showed up to play a little hockey. There were 28 reps that hit the ice last night and most of them looked like it wasn’t their first time on ice skates either.

On Saturday, January 30, 2010 the Red Bull Snake Run will take place at Waterville Valley Resort. Don't worry, there will be no real snakes in the run, just the latest signature Red Bull feature and a skate inspired snake run of medium sized hits, bank turns, rails and the slippery features.
