VAIL, Colo. – Nov. 2, 2009 – Vail Mountain and partner Highline Sports & Entertainment announced today that star-studded band Yukon Kornelius will perform an awareness concert for environmental non-profit Reverb on Fri., Dec. 11 as a part of Vail Snow Daze, Vail’s annual winter kick-off festival. Anchored by Stefan Lessard, bass guitarist from Dave Matthews Band, and joined by Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies, Adam Gardner of Guster and Eric Fawcett from N*E*R*D, Yukon Kornelius will take center stage at Vail’s Dobson Ice Arena with opening act Pete Kilpatrick Band.

VAIL, Colo.—November 6, 2008—In its third year, the Dummy Gelunde World Championships will return to the Vail Snow Daze weeklong festival on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. Registration opened to the public November 1 and is limited to a field of 25 teams.

VAIL, Colo. —November 1, 2008—Leftover Salmon, the legendary Colorado-born band notable for their fusion of bluegrass, Cajun, funk, Southern rock, boogie, Caribbean, Latin and jazz influences, was added to the Vail Snow Daze 2008 musical lineup with tickets on-sale beginning November 1. Leftover Salmon will perform as Vail Snow Daze’s second headliner concert, Big Head Todd and the Monsters will perform on Thursday night, and is part of the country’s largest early season mountain bash, which offers a host of on-mountain events and après parties.

VAIL, Colo.—October 21, 2008—Vail Snow Daze, the country’s largest early season mountain bash, returns December 8-14, 2008 featuring three nights of headliner music opening with Big Head Todd and the Monsters live in concert Thursday, December 11, 2008. The Snow Daze event offers a super charged mix of non-stop music, on-snow events, Demo Daze and a wide variety of après and after-dark parties.
