The book release party took place on the 4th of June at the Vans headquarters. Things got rolling when the van that was transformed by the West Coast Customs crew was showcased. A transportable mini ramp in a van. Omar Hassan was on site to give it a test run. This party had everything, live music, skateboarding, great food, free booze and some sweet art. Keep your eye out for the book, "Stories of Sole from Vans Originals". Thanks to Vans for the invite to this one.

Mother Nature 1 West Coast invitational 3- WCI wins!

Apre time in the White Bark bar at the Westin in Mammoth.

Mother Nature 1, West Coast invitational 0 after day 1. The WCI had to be postponed on day 1 due to bad weather. Riders and media took a break and regrouped at the White Bark bar in the Westin Hotel while MY-G threw down some killer beats. The bad weather did not ruin anyone's spirits especially during half price drinks and food.

I got the opportunity to go fishing with Keenan Rice and company on a 85 foot boat with with about 85 people on board. It was a very interesting situation I had gotten myself into, big fish hooks flying inches from my face, tangled fishing lines, and a few angry fisherman.

Mike Modrich got the show started with one of the top 5 catches of the day, the rest of us just kept getting tangled, and yelled at buy a few natives. After A little break and with about 10 minutes of fishing left I got a little aggressive and and started throwing some elbows around. It worked I finally got a bite. After about 15 minutes of playing tug-a-war with a seal for my catch,and running around the the back of the boat with no fishing style whatsoever plus dealing with people questioning my manhood cause I could not reel this damn fish in I finally got a top 5 biggest fish of the day.
