Sims and Sports Authority Retailer Appreciation Day

The gang at Sports Authority and Sims organized a little retailer appreciation ride day at Echo Mountain in CO last Tuesday. Since the hill is usually closed Tuesday’s it was a great opportunity for Sims retailers to test the 2011 product and just enjoy a day riding with friends.

Day #2 of the Salomon Extreme Freeride Championships at Taos has been completed. Bluebird skies and plentiful powder teamed up to bring epic conditions for the second day of competition.

The Ride Shakedown is underway right now at the Summit-at-Snoqualmie. It’s the first one in the States from the same guys who make it happen every year in Canada since 2002. The qualifications for the main event tomorrow just went down. Check out a few picks from today and stay tuned for updates from tonight's rail jam.

Riders about to drop

Day #1 qualifier of the 2010 Salomon Freeride Championships at Taos has been completed. Standouts included Mark Koekler, Kenny Jones and Tyler Dewitt all riding strong from top to bottom. 7 riders advanced to the next round along with 5 pre-qualified athletes. Tomorrow's semi finals has a stacked heat, the riding has been exciting to watch and will only get better.

Jamison has been working hard spending time each and every day, on the mountain, at contests, and at any other activity, filming Windells Academy students. He has been using this footage to make some epic edits for his video production class. This edit is from our trip to aspen, including the Aspen Open.
